ballpeen hammer 4x8

I am really developing an appreciation for hammers. They are very individual and theyseem to take on a personality of their own as they age. I found this one in storage closet in the office at school. I am painting on a different material on this one. It's painted on 1/8" masonite. I primed it with 4 coats of gesso. It's quite a bit smoother than the wooden panels I was using and required much less sanding.
