Clementine Dam #3 10x8
I met my friend Frank Ordaz in Auburn and we went out to Clementine. The vantage point that I selected was a lot closer than what I usually choose. It was a pretty challenging view to paint from. I'm going to have to try it again some time.

Merry Christmas everyone!
I'm going out of town for a few days. I won't have internet access but I will still be painting every day. I will catch up with posting when I return. Thanks for looking at my blog!

peeled clementine #3 5x7
A couple of other artists that I like have done similar paintings recently and I thought they were very striking so I decided to try this composition. One problem that I didn't anticipate was that the peel kept dragging the clementine off it's perch.
