Clementine Dam #3 10x8

I met my friend Frank Ordaz in Auburn and we went out to Clementine. The vantage point that I selected was a lot closer than what I usually choose. It was a pretty challenging view to paint from. I'm going to have to try it again some time.

This is Folsom Dam as seen from Beal's point. I bought some cherries from a roadside stand today and was planning on painting them but it was just too nice a day to pass up.

Clementine Dam #2 7x7

In spite of the fore casted rain, it was mostly clear today. I took the opportunity to get back out to Lake Clementine to paint the dam again. I'm trying to be less fussy in my painting.

This is is Clementine Dam on the American River in Auburn. This and No Hands Bridge are my two favorite concrete structures in Auburn.
