This interesting rock formation is on the Bear River just above Dog Bar Bridge. We used to go swiming here all the time when we were kids.

Irish Beach 6x8

My mom and Richard rented a house at Irish Beach near Mendocino and invited us all up for the weekend. It was foggy most of the time but I caught a thin slice of sun the first evening. This was my mom's favorite painting that I did during the trip so she gets it. Thanks for the great weekend!

I stopped by the lake on my way home from school today. The weathers warming up again and there are only four days of class left.

Today was cool and clear. The lake is a bit low. That's o.k. I like the orange granite that's exposed around the shore.

Bear River (Duck Bill) 7x7

This rock formation is on the Bear River about a quarter mile above Dog Bar Bridge. When I was gowing up my mom would bring my sister and I down here to swim. It seemed like we would spend all summer at this river.
