This rock formation is downhill from Mammoth bar on the middle fork of the American river near Auburn. There are actually a few rock climbs on it that I climbed years ago. It looks too hard now. There is a bit of ancient graffiti on it that reads "wolf ridge" with an arrow pointing up. I don't know if that's actually the name of the formation but it's what we always called it so I guess that's good enough. There's a lot of great stuff to paint down here. I'll be back.

Nice one Craig~
You know a LOT of good spots around here. Are many of them accessible by car? Or do you hike in? I know you bike a lot but I'm guessing these upriver ones are not on the bike path?
