glove #2 5x7

It was sort of rainy today and I didn't have time to get outside any how. I had a very busy day. It was such a relief to sit down and do this simple little painting. I used the leftover paint from my self portrait of a few days ago. I think it's sort of amusing that I used the Zorn palette to paint a Zorn palette colored thing. Back in the day, Anders Zorn did some amazing work with this palette and I'm looking forward to experimenting more with it.

All this detail packed into a teeny tiny painting. Beautiful!

Commentary to "the glove"
Ivory Black, Cinober, white and occra. Yes it is amazing what we can do with small resources. I am a big fan of Zorn and conect him with Schjerfbeck, Rembrant (!) and a copple of other swedish painter that is valör-painter (no english word, it means the part of the colours space)
I love your ambition and your paintings, and feel for paint again when i see your pieces, nowadays i only take photos and work with Photoshop

Best regards Ingela
