chocolate chip cookies 7x5.5

Once again I intended to paint a landscape down in the canyon. Unfortunately, with the advent of daylight savings time, I was unable to get to the spot I had in mind in time. The light gets really flat once the sun sinks below the canyon rim. I decided to make some cookies and paint those instead.

hoho 7x5.5

Hoho's are another strange American food item. They are very similar to Hostess Cupcakes and Ding Dongs. Shape being the primary attribute that sets them apart from one another. This little series is largely student generated. I think they like it when I paint stuff like this because they get to eat the leftovers.
