We took a trip down to Southern California to visit family over the holiday weekend. I managed to get down to Crystal Cove to do some painting. This is just a charming place to paint. I always wish I had more tine there.

Red Cloud Buttes 14x11

This one is a commission. I painted a smaller study for it here. The clouds in yesterday's painting were practice for this one as well. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
