I don't eat things like this any more. I bought these cookies just to paint them. I wanted to do an arrangement of black, white and grey. It was interesting and fun to paint. I ended up eating the cookies and milk afterward and that was fun too. I have found, however, that, against all reason, I prefer to eat my cookies "prison style", that is with water instead of milk.

Hi Craig,
I wanted to comment on one of our paintings for some time now. This seems like a great opportunity. I think there's something classic about this piece. It evokes Vermeer's milk maid in some way. Thanks,
Elijah.
Oreos! Yuuuuuuummmmm! I want some...I eat mine from the middle out and don't like milk with them either.
I am the proud owner of this painting! I finally just had it matted and framed. I just love it. Thanks!
Paula
Hi, I don't know what's the meaning of the white shadow near the glass. please explain to me. tx
Hi Anonymous,
What you are referring to as a "white shadow" is actually light being focused through the thick glass at the bottom of the cup. In this case the glass is acting kind of like a magnifying lens. If you set up a glass or a bottle like this with a single, bright light source you will see what I'm talking about.
